PETALING JAYA: The Cabinet is setting up a team to start an examination concerning remote trade misfortunes by Bank Negara in the 1990s.

It said the taskforce would then forward its proposition and proposals to the Cabinet for further activity. 

The Cabinet, it stated, would investigate setting up a Royal Commission of Inquiry if the discoveries justified it. 

"This goes to demonstrate the Government's dedication in guaranteeing straightforwardness to learn if Bank Negara was administered in like manner.
