Ringgit opens higher versus US Dollar on mild demand

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar on gentle business request from speculators today, a cash merchant said.

At 9.15 am, the nearby unit reinforced against the US dollar to 4.1350/1400 from 4.1370/1410 yesterday.

The merchant said firmer unrefined petroleum costs in early Asian exchange additionally loaned backing to the nearby cash.
