Ringgit opens lower against greenback


KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit fell far from a two-day high in opening lower today on the back of an absence of purchasing enthusiasm, with the slight decrease in worldwide oil costs likewise hosing assumption for the nearby note, merchants said.

At 9.00 am, the nearby unit was cited at 3.9930/9970 against the greenback from yesterday's end of 3.9830/9880.
